Who We Are

Mark Broxterman is Senior Vice President and Head of U.S. Commercial at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals. Mark has over 20+ years of experience within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry and has been with Deciphera since 2019, serving in positions of increasing responsibility. Prior to joining Deciphera, he held multiple roles at Genentech, a member of the Roche group, and Chiron Corporation (acquired by Novartis). Earlier in his career, he served as a consultant at Accenture. Throughout his career, Mark has been a strategic key contributor across multiple U.S. oncology launches spanning both large and rare tumor types. He is recognized for his collaborative leadership, business acumen, and ability to translate strategy into execution. Mark received a B.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Northwestern University and an M.B.A. from Duke University.
