Who We Are

Jane Atkins is Vice President and Head of Program Leadership and Management at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals. She brings over 20 years of experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical industry to Deciphera, including 15 years in Program Leadership and Management.

Prior to joining Deciphera, Jane served as head of Portfolio Strategy and Program Management at Wave Life Sciences. Before Wave, she spent time at Biogen, leading multiple early-development programs across immunology, hemophilia, and neurodegenerative diseases. Earlier in her career, Jane worked as a scientist at Intercytex, a start-up focused on developing regenerative medicine therapies for skin and hair.

Jane completed her post-doctoral training at the Center for Engineering and Medicine at Harvard Medical School. She holds a PhD in Chemical and Biochemical Engineering from Rutgers University and a bachelor’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology.
