Akira Imagawa

Akira Imagawa is Vice President, Head of Research at Deciphera Pharmaceuticals. Akira brings over 30 years of experience in early drug discovery of small molecules.
Prior to Deciphera, Akira had been working for Ono Pharmaceutical and led over 30 research programs that resulted in multiple drug candidates in a wide range of disease areas including oncology.
Akira holds an MS in Science from Kyusyu University.
