Senior Scientist, Enzymology and Cell Biology

Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, LLC has an opening for a Senior Scientist in Enzymology and Cell Biology. The prospective candidate will have a BS or MS with 4-6 years experience or a Ph.D. with 1-3 years experience in a drug discovery setting. Job responsibilities will include various cell based assays, kinase assays, mentoring of other lab members, and presentation of experimental results. Experience with enzymatic and cell techniques is a must. Familiarity with the kinase field is a plus but not an absolute requirement. In addition, excellent interpersonal skills are required. Scientist, Enzymology and Cell Biology

The prospective candidate will have a BS or MS degree in a scientific discipline with demonstrated experience in a lab setting. Job responsibilities will include cell culture, analysis of cellular extracts, kinase assays, tracking of experiments through lab notebooks, and presentation of experimental results. Senior Scientist, Medicinal Chemistry

Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, LLC has openings for Senior Scientists in Organic/Medicinal Chemistry. The successful candidate will have a PhD in organic, medicinal, or bioorganic chemistry, preferably with post-doctoral experience. Accomplished laboratory skills for small molecule design and synthesis is required. Experience in medicinal chemistry, structure-based drug design, parallel array chemical library synthesis, or experience using bioorganic probes for studying protein function is highly desirable. Principal Investigator, Medicinal Chemistry

Deciphera Pharmaceuticals, LLC has an opening for a Principal Investigator, Medicinal Chemistry. Qualified candidates will have a PhD or equivalent in organic or medicinal chemistry, and will have 5-10+ years of pharmaceutical or biotech industry experience in leading interdisciplinary discovery teams culminating in the delivery of small molecule drug candidates into preclinical or clinical development. Familiarity with kinase or phosphatase small molecule research areas is preferred but not required. The successful candidate will assume a medicinal chemistry leadership role in our discovery unit, and will assume program leadership responsibilities in one or more kinase programs, serving as a primary contact person in collaborative research efforts with Pharma partners.
