James A. Bristol, Ph.D. is Co-Chairman of the Deciphera Board of Managers. Dr. Bristol was previously Senior Vice President, Worldwide Discovery Research with Pfizer. Prior to this position, he was Vice President, Discovery Research, at the Pfizer Global Research & Development site in Ann Arbor, Michigan, and Vice President, Discovery Research with the Parke-Davis Pharmaceutical Research Division of Warner-Lambert. Dr. Bristol has served on the Gordon Research Conferences Board of Trustees and was National Chairman of the Medicinal Chemistry division in the American Chemical Society Division in 1995. Dr. Bristol has 46 publications in peer-reviewed journals and 30 granted U.S. patents. In recognition of his service to the pharmaceutical industry, Dr. Bristol received the American Chemical Society's Earle B. Barnes Award for Leadership in Chemical Research Management in 2004.

Tim Sotos is Co-Chairman of the Board of Managers. He is also Chairman/CEO of Clinical Reference Laboratory, Inc. He has over 30 years consulting and management experience with previous positions at one of the big four accounting/consulting firms, and two Fortune 500 companies. Mr. Sotos holds a B.S. in Economics and an M.B.A. both from the University of Pennsylvania, Wharton School of Business.

Daniel Flynn, Ph.D. is President and CEO of Deciphera Pharmaceuticals. Before founding Deciphera in 2003, he was Senior Director of Chemistry with Millennium Pharmaceuticals, Director of Chemistry with Amgen, INC, and a Research Fellow at GD Searle/Monsanto Company. Dan is an Adjunct Professor of Medicinal Chemistry at the University of Kansas-Lawrence and has served as the national Chair for the Division of Medicinal Chemistry of the American Chemical Society.

Tim Fritzel is President of Gene Fritzel Construction Co. Inc. and a director of University National Bank in Lawrence, KS. He has over 30 years of managing and making private investments.

Harold Jacobi, III, JD has practiced law in Massachusetts for 40 years and is the founder and principal of Jacobi & Chamberlain, LLP with an office in Lexington, Massachusetts. His areas of expertise are corporate law and business litigation with extensive experience in banking, real estate, business and insurance law. Mr. Jacobi has served for five years as the Vice President of the Massachusetts Trial Lawyers Association and has served as incorporator, clerk, director and corporate counsel to corporations, LLC’s and other business entities. Mr. Jacobi graduated from the University of Virginia with a B.A. in 1967 and Boston University School of Law with a Juris Doctorate in 1970.
