Data from the evaluation of DCC-2909, a selective inhibitor of FMS kinase, was presented at AACR in Orlando, FL. DCC-2909 is an oral small molecule that exhibited excellent bone protective properties in a PC-3 prostate cancer metastasis model. The compound is currently in preclinical development for treatment of hormone resistant bone metastases.
